Event Highlights:
Day 1: The event will kick off with a warm welcome from the SOLUTIONSplus project and key representatives from the Municipality of Montevideo. Participants will gain valuable insights into the regulatory frameworks in Europe, best practices from Barcelona, and the current state of charging infrastructure development in Uruguay. Interactive workshops will explore the challenges and opportunities in regulatory environments, business models for EV charging infrastructure, and interoperability standards.
Day 2: The second day will focus on data-driven e-mobility market development and policy making. Experts will present the status of the e-mobility market and policies in several Latin American countries, followed by an in-depth look at the European Alternative Fuels Observatory (EAFO) initiative. Keynote presentations will provide an overview of the EV data ecosystem in Latin America, and a roundtable discussion will delve into best practices from Europe and regional market development strategies.
Day 3: The final day will feature the commissioning of ChargePoint charging stations, followed by a cultural day throughout the city of Montevideo. Participants will have the opportunity for bilateral meetings to discuss
specific topics in detail.
